why we replace cortisol before thyroxine in hypopituitarism????
b/c of adrenal crisis or due to permissive action??
could someone explain it to me??

NOT adrenal crisis bz permissive acción,

↓ Cortisol clearance (hypothyroidism + MR reduce the need for cortisol) & thyroid replacement -> ↑ cortisol clearance -> ↓ the cortisols you want to be present + if you ↑ MR by step of taking thyroxine and even cortisol that your replace cannot provide by damage adrenal. That the reason u are always fix adrenal def 1st before thyroid replacement pat (even partial adrenal insuff) you don’t need to aggravate adrenal paralysis more than deep in depth.
