ranking a program with probationary accredition - aimz250

Hi! I would appreciate advice on ranking a program I interviewed at which apparently is in the probationary accredition 2014-2015 list of ACGME. I really liked the program as I found the residents very friendly, good fellowship match rate and it is the only program on my list which sponsors H1, so I ranked it No. 1. I would like to know if a program is on probation is there a high chance of the program shutting down.

you have nothing to worry about............it has less than 1% chance of shutting down

once you match into the program, if the program shuts down all the residents will be placed in a different program.
