Is this program malignant? Has anyone heard about people leaving/getting fired?

The program takes 10 residents, but the website shows a year with 8 graduates and another with only 6. Also a resident mentioned that one student started as pgy2, which means there was a vacancy?

Anyone knows anything?

I thought this program was merging, forming an 8-position residency program.

I don't know. But just looking at the credentials of the Program Director Masters of Medical Education, MBA, Certifying Commission in Medical Management, I would like to think that with a PD with those credentials it is not malignant.

but from what I have heard through the grapevine BCM get worked the most, then UTH, and methodist is the least workload of the 3.

Again all of this is relative

thanks kash_md.

I don't mind the workload. I just fear for my future, if they fire residents left and right it's not a place one wants to be at.
