What Is Waiting Period from Application till CSA E -

The Waiting Period for sitting the CSA-EXAM . How long do I wait ; from the time I send my CSA-Application until I Sit for the CSA-Exam.
I'm worried ; because my visa will end on Aug.-1 2003 , so I want 2 sit the CSA before I go back home to France. I'm expecting my Step-1 result to come within 10-days ; and then I can apply for the CSA .

Have you taken your Toefl? If not take it ASAP.You cannot apply for CSA without the acknowlegment of your Toefl from ECFMG. It will take 1 month , from the time you take Toefl. Once your Toefl is acknowledge then, apply for CSA. You can check OASIS at www.ecfmg.org for the status of your application.

I thought that when u have an european passport u didn't need any visa.... anyway u could go 2 canada and come back in USA so u get a new visa, no ?
Beware about the NRMP schedule for 2004....
