Research on B1 B2 now applying on J1 Clinical - arki1063

Hi ,

I did several months of research on B1 B2 visa and got matched for residency this year.

In ECFMG/OASIS when now I am uploading my CV, it mentions in my CV that I have done some voluntary research in US. So, will it have any impact when I go for visa interview now? I mean technically you cannot do research on b1 b2. Should I remove it from my CV?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

You can do volunteer work on B1/B2. Get letter from you mentor saying that it was a volunteer position and you were not paid and didn't get any benefits in return

Thanks Shamshir.

Happy 2015- I did research in Univ of Massachusetts and Univ of California -Davis. Plz don't ask me the names of the professors or email ids as I am not comfortable sharing them.
