It will affect your application for sure, but I know people with scores like yours and secured 10+ ivs in Pathology ..I believe what they care about is interest in Pathology more than anything else...

One did, one didn't...although I believe that Pathology residency is available in University Hospitals and big name medical centers only, and let's say 90% of those are sponsoring VISAs.
