what are the protocol. do we start treatment with haart immediately if they are postive for hiv. or is there a limit of cd 4 or viral load.

sorry response got deleted

If CD4 count is over 500, HAART is optional
If pregnant, start right away
If symptomatic at any CD4, start right away
If needle stick injury and source is positive HIV, start right away
