My first advice is DO NOT GIVE UP AND DO NOT PANIC IF YOU DID NOT GET MATCHED!

I am a very old FMG (YOG more than 15 years), US citizen one attempt on CS step1 21* and ck 23*. I worked very hard had some publications more than 5 yeasr US clinical exper. made some connections and finally matched! but my plan B was these 2 options:

1. It is a FMG to NP program located at Florida last about 3 years and after 3 years you work independently as NP. It is and academic and you have to stay in college full time

2. This is online course you can work part time take about 3 years or more.

Good Luck to All!

you need to call them and ask, you can apply for loan. I know the first one i.e. FIU, if you are a Florida resident the fee would be half!

Check U.S. Career Institute... Medical Assistant Program... Total online program... short... Cheap around 1250$... you can work in any clinic and this can be considered as an experience too as you will be legally accepted in any clinic and be in touch with patients BUT not beyond MA level... which is good as a plan B... Salary ranges from 25K to 35K...

MA isn't considered to be an experience that can help you to get into residency. They want hands on experience like NP, PA. MA can help you to make connections.
