ALways:
consider that some causes of secondary amenorrhea should be considered in work out for primary amenorreh.

sex characteristic presents in secondary amenorrehe.

about the work out: this is long story.......
start with pregnancy test......

primay-never had a period
secondary-had normal periods earlier now no periods

do TSH to exclude hypothyroidism.

3rd step Confusedome do pituitary profile prolactin , LH , FSH.

exlude mechanical obstruction by imperforated.......
