when cat bite history present and then mild fever, LNpathy, rash at bite site........what to choose between .....
1. B. hensle
2. Pasteurella multocida

can anybody pl explain in detail about the differece in lesion caused by each bug.

what i think so far is........when its cat bite.....pasturella multocida
and when its cat scratch ........B. hensle ????

pasterialla.intensly inflame ,prulent dischagre ,swelling....WITHIN 24 hrs....tx=amoxicillin calvunate=5 days.


bartonella. papulo vesicular reash,TENDER PROX LYPHADENOPATHY.....3-10 days ..
azithro/clarithro=10 days

lymphadenopathy can be in both but i have seen it being mentioned more in the context of cat scratch
