Preparation for Residency - drpilot
#1
Hi everyone,

So reality is just striking me that residency starts in a few weeks time.

I have practiced medicine briefly before in my home country but that was over 5 years ago.

Is there any material or resource that might be of help in letting me have a great start , practicing here in the US? Including the use of EMR, making clinical decisions etc. (I have not done step 3 if that makes any difference)

Secondly, I have read about several suggestions online- Tinitinalli, MKSAP boaard basics, UCSF hospitalist, Maxwell's, Sanford antimicrobial, Tarason pharmapoiea, MGH Internal Medicine pocket handbook etc. Which of these would you recommend?

Thank you
