MA pharmacotherapy in a 32 yr pt with difficulty sleeping due to the needs of her 3 children and her elderly disabled parents of whom she is the primary caretaker, progressive fatigue and muscle stiffness for past 6 months, no difficulty concentrating, no suicidal ideation, an increased appetite, 14 kg weight gain for a year, a prev. hx of binge-eating and purging by vomiting, no hx of psychoactive subs abuse or dependence, no cold nor heat intolerance, no changes in bowel nor urinary fx, limited range of motion of the upper extremitities due to pain, no muscle atrophy, down and stressed mood, good eye contact, dysphoric and intermittently tearful affect?
1. Imipramine
2. Fluoxetine
3. Diazepam

.. this aint a GAD .. she looks stressed out.. and with all the fatigue and stiffness in her body nd arm.. and lack of sleep... i might consider a diazepam before bed time..
