If I took usmle step 1 in november of 2011, what is my 7 year time line to be done with all the usmle exams, including step 3?

It depeneds on the state that you aregoing to apply to get your license, For example New York : your usmle exams are valid forever , California 10 years etc

you need to complete all the three steps in between the 7 years, if not you are not valid and you you need to retake all the steps again

I live in California, and I called the medical board anf they confirmed that in the state of California, you have to take usmle step 3 not later than 10 years of the first step you passed.
