Anterior cord syndrome - frenchy89
#1
For anterior spinal artery occlusion, first aid listed "Presents with UMN deficit below the lesion (corticospinal tract), LMN de cit at the level of the lesion (anterior horn)" does that mean the patient will present UMN symptoms such as spasticity or hyperreflexia based on what first aid said, but my school note said "sudden flaccid paralysis, areflexia, sudden loss of pain/temperature sensation, and autonomic deficits", which is LMN

Thanks

Also if first aid said "for ALS, Combined UMN and LMN deficits with no sensory" so does the patient present with UMN or LMN symptoms?
