Has anyone applied in third or fourth week of September matched?

I know 2 people who did. They both required Visa.
Extreme number of references.

I applied on Oct. 5th to 200 IM programs , got 5 interviews and got matched . I've barely made it . Piece of advice : apply to programs even if you have a pending ECFMG certificate . I didn't apply until I got my certificate which was a mistake .

Yes. A friend of mine applied Sept 30 and she matched.

She did not have the results of her USMLE step 2CS and was not yet ECFMG certified by Sept 15. She decided to wait for her whole application to be complete before she applied. She got 7 interviews. I applied Sept 15 and only got 3 interviews.

yes there will be chances of getting, you need to have strong scores with hands-on clinical experience
