criteria for mild---factor 8c activity more than 5
moderate --between one and five
severe--less than one

for mild --no treatment required --unless posted for surgery----
DDAVP 0.3 mcg before surgical procedure

if persistant bleeding
one can tyr EACA

in response to minor bleeding one has to rais ethe plasma factor 8 con by 25 percent

for moderate bleeding 50 percent
and surgery 100 percent

one unit of factor 8 is equal to the amount i 1ml of plasma
plasma is 40 ml/kg
and the volume of distribution on factor 8 is 1.5 times the plasma
