Out of curiosity what does it all mean? Some say osteopathic recognition next to them, others say categorical (osteopathic), and then some just have osteopathic in the name. Which if any are IMGs allowed to apply to?

Osteopathic recognition usually means that the program accepts MDs and DOs. If the program has Osteopathic in its name, it usually means its restricted only to DOs so therefore you won't be given interviews for such programs. IMGs are allowed to apply to programs with Osteopathic recognition as long as they accept IMGs. Do you research on the program's website and Frieda. Best of luck.
