hi everyione i have a question please help
i am here in usa for past 2 yrs on j1 doing a non accredited fellowship in a branch of surgery and now i may get a residency position in im. will ecfmg allow me to change and what should be the process

Yes U can do residency on J-1 but u can't get it changed to H-1... I think max limit on J-1 is 6 yrs.. keep that also in mind.. if you can't join this year than .. don't join 4 yr residency program... better chk with lawyer for an expert opinion.
