Hi, Can we get/obtain LORs from community physicians practicing in local clinics/centers, who are not a member of or are not recognized by a residency teaching staff? would it be ok?

i ask, b/c currently doing an "informal" observership at a local community primary care/internist's office and at a local FM ambulatory care center...

It's better than nothing but obviously not as good as from University Hospital/prof... if it's all you got than it's all you got.

its fyn ... doesn`t make a big diff .i mean u guys can use it up ... i even got one from an attending as my mantor
.. oh well if u get from a hospital it does carry more wt ..
