the pd asked about my future plans, i told i want to do a fellowship in endo main concentration on DMand want to do research mainly in DM.
PD told tht they looking for someone intrested in DM and pd himelf is a member of ADA.
he discussed his presentations and intrestes with me and was positive on tht day itself.
as usual i asked for prematch during the end of the iv, he told tht he will contact me.
in the thank you letter also i told i am ready to sign the contract out of the match.
got response from the pd exactly 4 weeks after iv on dec 12.
then i was interviewed by another faculty who told tht i am a potential candidate since the facluty n the pd discussed before interviewong each candidate.
there is one faculty/visiting physician Dr. Grunburger who is faculty in wyane state endocrinology and he is doing research mainly DM nad his clinic is very near to the hospital and pd told tht it will me in getting fellowship in wyane state.
