In usa the carrier form of cystic fibrosis is 1/30 and in mexico the carrier form of CF is 1/100. what is the probability of that a child born from US father and mother from mexico will suffer from the disease.......!!

I would say E.
father 2pq = 1/30 q = 1/60 mother 2pq = 1/100 q = 1/200 then the son = 1/60 X 1/200 = 1/12000

I didnt see the answer e 1/12000. It should be E. I couldn't get 1/2000. So took another way.
