Why man do not have osteoporosis when lacking the estrogen from the right beginning, while woman rely so heavily on it such that postmenopausal women easily develop osteoporosis.

What is the trick here?

well testestosone is the dominating factor..

does have to do with drinking milk, it does a body good, or is it the calcium and phospours ratio.... hence Vit D from sun exposure...
woman confined themselves to the safe passage of their bedrooms, while men work the gardens... chasing the young factors

Testosterone increases the lifespan of both osteoblasts and osteoclasts by affecting apoptosis
The greater bone mass in males is due to their greater bone size as testosterone promotes long bone growth,, metaphyseal ossification, periosteal new bone formation etc

Testosterone acts like estrogen, inhibiting cytokines that stimulate the development of osteoclasts, and also stimulates tnf-b which increases apoptosis of osteoclasts.
