i am an indian doctor in UK, i have got a J1 residency, can i get my visa stamped in UK or should i go to India, kindly reply, ur input will be much appreciated,

I asked the same question from my PC because I don't want to go to India to get my visa stamped. She told me that you can call US embassy in Canada and ask if they are willing to do that. You can do the same in UK. Chances of getting visa stamped in your home country are maximum; however, it won't hurt tying in UK. Just be prepared to answer why didn't you apply in your home country.
