2004 grad
permanent US resident
2 months of volunteer work at hospital.
please tell me what should i do to improve my chances. i am very worried. thank you

Take Step 3
Get good US LOR's (do externships/observerships/research).
Forge Contacts within the programs with people who can put in a good word for you
Apply wisely and widely
Write a good PS
Be ready with answers to explain the attempts and what you have been doing since graduation.


I am not reinventing the wheel here but work hard and stay focussed. All the best
