Hi,
An urgent question about the step 1 application process: I have sent the 183 form to ECFMG. The UPS tracking information shows it has been deliveried. But when I check the OASIS, Processing Status: Waiting for Certification Statement. Also, it shows:
Credentials Information
Status: Medical education credentials not received.
ECFMG® sends written notification to applicants concerning the status of their credentials after ECFMG receives and processes the credentials. Refer to the "Medical Education Credentials" section of the ECFMG Information Booklet for more information.
I am an IMG. I have sent them both original diploma/transcripts and the translation. Why is there still a problem?
Shall I call them at 215-386-5900, the number given at ECFMG site to find out more?
