Hey,
I am an old IMG. Planning to take step 1 December 28. I just start with kaplan notes. 6 hrs a day. ( I have to work as a postdoc.) What's your suggestion? Is this time enough? give me some advice guys. Thanks

4 months is more than enough if you can finish your Kap books and have enough time to complete the Qbank plus First Aid. Restrict your study materials to only Kap notes and First Aid but do loads of practice questions. Enrol for the Kap online Qbank (3 months) and do the questions in blocks of 50 to simulate the real exam. Review the anwsers afterwards. Two weeks to your exam do the NBME forms I & II to gauge your readiness.

So you are doing postdoc in clinical or basic sciences? Can you share how you obtained the position for the benefits of other imgs on this forum who might need some guidance?
