JpnMediac - medic_tky

I'm studying medicine in Japan.
I'd like to work in U.S.A , so I will take USMLE.

In Japan , there is littele information about USMLE.
Could you tell me what the famous ways in U.S.A. to study USMLE are and what books are recommended?

The famous books or summaries I searched on intenet are as follows.
But they have too many pages to read all. How should I do..?

[Books]
First Aid For The USMLE Step1
Pharmaco , Biochemistry : Lippincott
Behavioral scienceSadI dont know good books, and in Japan there are no subjects like behavioral science. And I dont know anythinig)
Physiology : SAUNDERS Physiology by LINDA S.COSTANZO
Microbiology : I dont know good books.
anatomy & pathology : I will study in Japanese and memorize English words.

[summaries]
goljan lectures : But I cannnot get them.

[schools]
Kaplan(This exists also in Japan ,in Tokyo. If I go study at Kaplan, dont I need read those books as I listed ??)

i used kaplan books for my preparation except pathology, where i used goljan. there is a book called rapid review of pathology by edward goljan. you should be able to get it from amazon.
my suggestion is do not use too many indepth books. lipincott is far too much for the exam. you will be fine with kaplan.
concentrate mainly on path, physio and pharm

Thank you very much.
Thanks for your good advice ,I decided to use kaplan books,
use a raped review of pathology by goljan and study mainly on path, physio and pharm.
I could decide the way to study,so I can concentrate on my study.

It may be hard to catch all the words in Kaplan VTR class because the class is taught in natural speed English.
I will persevere , and I will pass USMLE.
Thank you.

I study in Tokyo. I'm sorry I dont want to show my university.
I decided to go to Kaplan in Tokyo. So I don't need goljan lecture. Thank you very much for your favor.
I hope someday will come when we can work in the U.S. as excellent doctors.
