actually what i mean to ask is NST is test for fetal well being .and poor predictors of fetal jeopardy

you already got fetal well being by Doppler fetal heart tones .so shall we need to do that again ?
this is my doubt ?

the fetus is sleeping. they can sleep for upto 48 hours in the third trimester.

if there was u/s then..can conform f/demice and coz 38wks GA ,so labour induction could also be ans then
if there r absent movements how can u leave for routene prenatal visit in 1wk

u cant even say.. f/demice,since fetal heart tones heard by doppler
so 1st NST..if its non-reactive then only we should do vibroacoustic/stim

_ NST indication: decrease or absence fetal movement, IUGR, diabetic mother...

In this case, absence fetal movement, but fetal heart tone heard by doppler, it may have 2 things:
1_ IUGR(fetal is still in high risk)

2_ Fetal well-being

So, next step have to do NST( to rule out IUGR).
