joining Research/Phd detrimental????????? - docrock123

Hi Guys,

I am waiting for match interviews for the 2nd time round and also volunteering at a research lab.
was thinking of taking a job there and possibly joining a PhD.
I have heard that joining a Phd may go against me in my future applications for residency..

Is this true.

Anybody else in the same boat or knows anything abt this.?
