Hi guys!
i am being offered a pre-match on j1 in a community hospital.Due to a non-competitive score I am left with little option than to accept it.What you guys can point out the pitfalls of it?I mean what are chances PRACTICALLY of getting pgy-2 next year ????

If you have no choice of course you should join it. For PGY 2 you'd have USCE so you'd surely be in a better position right now. By the way...what are your scores? just curious

i think u shud join it too...i have seen ppl many times offered a 2nd yr categorical spot in the same program...or else u cud apply elsewhere for the 2nd yr spot.

If you have non-competitive score and need visa, it is better to join.
