Importance of first aid in prep of step 1. Should be done simultaneously wid notes or at the end ?

I used the first aid all through medical school. When I began studying for the exam - I used notes primarily from Kaplan and supplemented with First Aid. The second time going through stuff - I relied solely on First Aid - and supplemented with Kaplan notes on things I felt hazy on. Third time going through material - First Aid only. I'm bout to start fourth time - FIRST AID ONLY!
