Monocyte: Dude, to be honest - I personally felt that I knew all those methods (and I do) but I ended up missing the qbank questions on them when they ask for certain organisms that do certain methods of gene transfer. To answer your question, I think that knowing them could possibly separate you from a large group of test takers. With that in mind, I encourage you to make an informed decision on the matter.
