1-In trauma case do u do cervical immobilisation with a rigid cervical collar or soft collar
2-Do u order TSH assay or Ultrasensitive assay as given in UW software.What exactly is ultrasensitive.
3-Do u need to put arterial catheter for BP monitoring when u r giving IV Nitroprusside for hypertensive emergency.
4-In Usmle CD primum software i found that u cannot counsel for many things at the same time by just scrolling down in the 5 minutes window screen.But in UW u can do so..Is it the same pattern in exam as in primum software.

4. i think ur cd is broken...on usmle premium CD you can ...scroll and select multiple choices and i real exam too..

If u order the A- line for nitro it will have advance the clock by 30 mts

I thought continuous BP monitor needs to be ordered.

One question of aortic dissection ,do we order for b blocker ,nitroprusside and consult and aortic aneurysym repair after we get the spiral CT result?

yes....a-line will advance the clock 30 mins yes..... use it to your advantage...
like STAT orders
cbc
bmp
lfts
and what ever else
and then A-line...
so during the a-line insertion you will get the results back for the labs you ordered... get it??
it will work well for you...

aortic dissection...if HR is high and Bp high too...u can order Beta bxs...
but Nitroprusside once you have the Ct chest result....not spiral CT...
diagnosis made eithe rby Ultrasound or CT chest...
