It used to be one of the least competitive fields. But recently, more US graduates have been applying to psychiatry. They are attracted to the lifestyle and relatively good pay.

its not easy dude.i was of similar opinion, but had to apply to internal med and pediatrics later on to ensure that i get enough interviews.i had 88 & 87,research experience
