My friend, I do not need to apologize to anyone, I truly do not care. You will find out for yourself when you get the deficiency letter asking for ECFMG certification. I am not posting to argue with anyone. Good luck to you all.

By the way, note: they list those as MINIMUM required documents and that is the point to remember. You can apply without ECFMG cert but you will get the letter from your analyst asking for the certificate. Good luck.

maddoc14, franko, no need to argue or fight.
here is something that makes all of us right and no one wrong.
1. as stated on application no need for ecfmg certification.
2. but the PTAL is issued by one of the analyst assigned to u based on ur last name. now this analyst can ask u anything form ecfmg certificate to you grandma's birth certificate. believe me process is not friendly at all.
