hi
i m a FMG passed in 2002.then i joined my Post graduation in Internal medicine here in my home country.now i m finishing it in Aug.i have my step scores91/83 (2002) first attempt.i m plannig to give step2 cs in oct.
now plz help me as to where i stand to get a decent college with H1 or it too much i m asking.should i apply for 2006 or wait for the next year.
plzz help me to take the decision
also how to get the USCE or observership
plz tell in detail

I think I wrote to you before, your score are not bad, but for getting H1- you must have step 3 done prior to interviews or atleast before joining. so if you will take your CS in oct- you will have to wait for atleast 2 months for results- say end of Dec/jan06- if you try and finish your Step 3 before March then you should be fine. When you come in US for CS, wait for 2-3 months mean time get USCE/observership and after results do step 3.

thanx sunny, but if do the observership in nov and dec when i will be applying for the interviews and if dont have the LOR during the interview then what is the point of doing observership.
plz help
