I got a mail from a program saying that they are planning to rank me highly in NRMP ROL.
So, I should not rely on it when I prepare my ROL? Please give me your inputs.

I would say that means they are going to rank you for sure but I wouldn't trust *high* part because what is the definition of high first 5, first 10, first 20?? we dont know.
So, rank your ROL assuming they ranked you and based on your like to that particular program - GL
