Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone has the list from last year.

Also, is it easy for a visa needing IMG to get a prelim medicine position if they have matched to an advanced position?

Prelim med are for AMGs who couldn't match to transitional or who havent decided yet what to do. Anyway you will be able to match to prelim surgery (especially if you don't need a visa, but not mandatory). The pelim surgery friendly list will be released by me in this forum on first week of March after I end contacting the PDs and residents.

Let me rephrase..

1. I am requesting a list of unfilled prelim IM programs in 2009 scramble.

2. What are a visa needing IMGs chances to get a preliminary medicine spot during the scramble, if he has already matched to an advanced program?

3. If they would issue a visa for a IMG in need, would it certainly be a J1?

And was that really 'lolworthy'?
