for those who accepted prematch - forgetit

is withdrawing from nrmp the only thing that is required or do we have to notify eras too?

hi Forgetit,

I withdraw from NRMP and the PC told me that the PD found my name on ERAS !! so I withdrawn my self from every program I applied to in ERAS and I will call them 2morrow to see what else to do !!

i didnt have any idea abt withdrawing from eras..nobody has asked me either...
is anyone else withdrawing from eras?

Some people did that partly becasue the other programs dont know that you prematched and your name could be on their ROL list. By removing yourself from all programs you are helping someone bump up the list.

Ps. I am not sure but as far as I know anyone who applies for a specific year has to have an active eras status. Prematched, unmatched as well as all scramblers. It only proves that you applied this year. I could be wrong.
Try to go to NRMP and ERAS read about withrawing from the match and if your still not sure just call them up. Then call your PC/PD.
