Thanks everyone! (PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM NOT AT THIS SITE ANY MORE!-I AM AT THE RESIDENCY AND MATCH SITE SO PLEASE EMAIL ME DIRECT AT pmn_2100 --DO NOT POST HERE!). ALSO IF YOU HAVE TIPS FOR MATCH, PLEASE EXCHANGE THEM WITH ME!)
Afterwards, I thought that I had failed again (i.e., 1st attempt was a poor 72; gruelling exam),
but was successful because I used:
1. Boards and Wards
2. Kaplan question bank
3. First Aid-Step 2
4. Special listing of CCS cases from many forums
5. Practice tests from many different sources and practice with exam taking
6. More focus on management and less on pathophysiology. Was given a set of notes from a successful friend that saved me study time. Saved a full set of topics that appeared at many different websites-very useful set of entities.
7. MOST IMPORTANT Copied down various exam taking tips from high scorers, that allowed me to approach those CCS and long vignettes...
Like the other people that succeeded on this site, I will also only be checking the "residency/match" site of this forum of this site from now on, but I want to thank the many people who set up this forum by giving something back.
If you want to discuss anything and need special instructions please email me at pmn_2100 if you need a calming down, or just general questions.
