#1
Dear friends
wish you all good luck in residency

I 've got a question for you...
I have a european experience recommendaion letter..The professor sent it me in PDF file..I want to send it o ERAS...Is it acceptable for programs...Or should I notarize it with a certified US stamp from a notary public..? coz it is irritating me that there is no stamp on it and signature is electronic..
What do you advise guys..

Notary public have no role here.

This is from ERAS: LORs must be manually signed by the letter writer. LoRs received with an electronic or stamped signature will be deemed copies.

Either request another one signed in blue ink or if it impossible then you have to accept the fact that one of your LORs is a copy. Although copies of LORs lose some of its value but if it is europian with genuine contact info it can still give you some advantage, but keep in mind that this is the last resort that you may go for as we are still in the start of the ERAS season ie you still have time to request a new one.
