is it ok to take the name of the attendings I followed if I am writing a PS exclusively for that particular program?

well if the attending is quite known then you should. quite known as in a famous name with extensive work. otherwise don't. you don't know who's gonna be reading your personal statement

The attending is known all over NY. She is very well known. But my main interest is in that particular program, and I am writing a PS for that program specifically.

So do you suggest i write her name along with another attending's name at least for the PS for that particular program?

I would include the name in one or two sentences, summarily describing your activity and the association with the doctor. You want to avoid the appearance of "name dropping".
