underage pt--do we need parental permission - symba

for a pt who came to clinic themselves & is underage, what is the way to proceed? lets say 17 yr old f came bcz of pregnancy. do u need parent's permission?

if 17 yo you will say i need parents permission and he will sya parents know i am here and you are able to treat
it will say on doorway that you can see and treat patient without parents there

at end of session say to sp i will do test and get results and discuss results when you come back with your parents be sure to let sp know you will discuss in next visit with his parents present
