in transposition there is increased but i can not fix it because i think there are 2 different circuits pulmonary and systemic without any exchange. pulmonary artery arising from rite ventricle gives blood to pulmonary vein which gets entry to rite atrium,, a different ciruit. In normal person systemic venous return is given to rite atrium and then rite ventricle and then pulmonary aorta but in this case there is aorta so again system is receiving the blood and returning it to rite side... ???

u are right theoritically, same above is not compatible...there shud b some pda, asd, vsd for survival therefore circuit no longer remain parallel.
rt. ventricle in this case do more work to thru blood in systemic circulation.aorta puts its blood to lungs...oxygenated/deoxygenated blood mixes in heart so almost same type of blood goes in lungs and body both
