Hi guys...could everybody contribute to forming an algorithm on things to be done from March 16, once you get accepted in to a H1B sponsoring program. Thanks

@ raj007ml - do we get he contract thru' post or as EMAIL? if post, then shud v expect getting the contract letters at the postal address mentioned in "ECFMG profile" on "March 17 or 18"?

Plz share J1 visa procedure as well.

The programs will inform what they need for starting the process after the match. You will need the contract to officially start though (but you can gather some documents before hand). How soon the contract is sent depends on the program. My program do not send the contracts themselves, but it is the GME office who sends all the contracts of all programs under the umbrella of the university. So it usually takes them 3-4 weeks to send the actual contract. Smaller programs are usually faster, as the bureaucratic burden is not as big and they send the contract within the same week.

What if you live in the neighbourhood of the program and after getting matched you go there in person to see the program co-ordinator and sign the contract?

so once we match to a program, does the program start sedning the contract letter to the postal address mentioned in our ERAS or ECFMG profile?
n do they start sending without informing us thta they are actually sending the contract letter? n do they strat sending from march 16 or 17?
