73 yo woman increasing episode uirinary incontice x 6 mos. Mostly at nite. No sensation to urinate prior to episode. Fluid restriction -decreased episode. 20 yr hx dm II. Meds: metformin, glyburide. Fundus
“ mild retinopathy. Normal vaginal mucosa. Decreased pinprick (stock & glove). U/A “ prot 1+, 0 leuk esterase or nitrite. Cause of urinary sx?
1 functional incontinence
2 detruser hypersensitive
3 urine overflow due to large residual vol.
4 urethral atrophy with loss of urethrovesical angle
5 normal aging
