Hi everyone, congrats on those who matched. and if you didn't there is hope. Look for non accredited fellowships which are pre residency fellowships and are given to md's who do not match. They are hard to find but usually all big academic centers have them. You should email the pd and other attendings to find them. Good luck!

whats ping? sorry i don't have that. These can be upto 2 years and you usually get the same salary as a pgy1. Yes they have all the benefits. most of them are on year. You can find them in fellowships of specialties like after anesthesia, neurology, neurosurgery, ortho etc. bkz small programs don't have any fellows coming in they take people like us.

so what is the difference between non accredited and accredited fellowship programs and why these programs not filled by fellows?
