Step3 ?
#1
Hi everyone
I really need your kind advice. I passed step 1 and 2CK in 2007 (both 235/99), and step 2CS in 2008, achieving ECFMG certificate.
But then, I kept practicing in my home country without taking step 3.
I was wondering if I could take step 3 in states without time limit for all required exams, according to www.fsmb.org. Or else, should I retake all those steps again, regardless of states?

you can call ECFMG and ask I am sure there should not be any problem.

I think you may be eligible to take Step 3 without retaking previous exams, as there is generally no time limit for Step 3 after obtaining the ECFMG certificate. However, eligibility rules vary by state. Check the specific requirements on the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) website or the state where you plan to apply. It’s best to verify with individual state boards to confirm if additional steps are needed.
