15 y.o boy w acne on face for 1 year. He refuses any oral medication. Exam: 10-15 pustules.What 's the most effective treatment for this pt symptom?
a-use benzyol peroxide soap
b-Avoid chocolate, caffein, fat
c-Ultraviolet light therapy
d-Topical Vit A & vit. E

Treatment of acne is based on the type and severity of lesiones (pustules, comedonal acne, severe acne). Foods do not cause or exacerbate acne so avoid chocolate, caffeine, fato wont help. . Topical retinoids, usefulness limited by irritation. Vitamin A analog Isotretinoin useful in severe acne, wich this its not the case. . I choose a

i geuss retin A ointments are fine with adolescents ( contraindicated in pregnancy)
for sure:

this is wrong because diet dosenot show any improvement

.. Acne tx is with grades ... topical vit A only in comedone non infalammatory so the topical is never an option in pt with pustules ... nest step if the pt has signs of inflammation then we choose giveing either Benzoyl peroxide or topical Abs ... to oral Abc to .... Oral retin A
