35 year old caucassian male had a aortic valve replaced some yrs back. He is IV drug abuser present with fever and chills. Which of following will be abnormal in his case ?
- blood cultures - TEE - CXR - EKG

this q from the real eaxm iw ould chose the tee bcz the q is asking about the abnormal not the 1st to be done... so i think tee is more vluable for this q. defintly the blood culture will be abnormal but the tee will be very high yild and important here...so they expect u to think about the possible cx when we have this vavle there.and how this can influence the rx. do have actual answer on this one.! so i think its the tee.
